Service Description

Saline lightening is an option for clients who do not want to pursue laser removal. It can lighten old grey, blue, and discolored brows. It can be done prior to a laser treatment, or after, to enhance results. It can be done to lighten existing brows enough to add new hairstrokes or change the shape. It can lighten a dark lip liner or old thick/winged eyeliner tattoo. It involves the process of breaking the skin with a sterile saline solution used to lift old pigment. Lymph is expressed in the process and a thin scab forms over the area. The old pigment that was lifted by the saline solution is exfoliated with the scab/dead cells. This process can be repeated until the old tattoo has faded enough to proceed with new PMU. More than one session is typically required to achieve desired results. Number of sessions and speed of lightening varies from case to case. Peeling and flaking will occur. Must avoid wearing makeup or applying anything on the treated area until fully healed.
